Relax on a Working Farm

Big Valley Campsite is nestled among the hills of our family owned working sheep farm, just 10 mins from the town of Margaret River.  Come and relax with us under the stars, next to an open fire*.   Feed the sheep, cuddle a guinea pig and breathe in the clean country air here at Big Valley.  We offer farm fresh eggs, lamb, honey, fire pits and a selection of convenience items for purchase.

The farm itself encompasses a beautiful secret valley, hidden from the outside world by a natural forest.  It’s the perfect location to stay and explore the South West and its incredible attractions.  For the adventurous, there are mountain bike and bush walking trails, majestic caves, fishing, surfing, canoeing and abseiling.   Of course Margaret River is renowned for its world class wineries, breweries, distilleries and restaurants.  There are many tours that pick up and drop off from our campsite.  As you journey through the region, you will discover handcrafted artisan products and an abundance of local produce crafted by talented producers and stunning natural attractions.

* camp fires are seasonal.

Amazing place to stay…

We recently stayed here and absolutely loved the setting, so much better than being crammed in at a caravan park. Being from interstate and having being caught out by the long weekend they were great to be able to fit us in at such short notice. Would recommend staying here, if you like space and being in a lovely farm setting.

This is the place to call home…

Absolutely loved staying at this property! If we lived in WA we would regularly return to switch off from the world. The owners and staff are bubbly and accommodating, even finding us a perfect spot to set up camp. We had a powered site and tent. We enjoyed the country air. This is it!

Fabulous FarmStay!

From the moment we rolled in with our caravan we knew it was going to be a great weekend. Being able to camp with our dogs was the big tick for this campsite. Massive dog run and ample space on the site for their tether. My son was in love with all the guinea pigs and he was able to feed the baby lambs too. The location is awesome..

Top Park!

We arrived on Friday arvo for a 2 night stay. Very friendly staff, really big site for 2 of us in a small van and 2 friends in a tent. Very clean facilities, bought some eggs and meat from the farm/park. Plenty of hot water and we could use our fire pit. Animal friendly. Loved our stay.

Best camp in southwest Western Australia…

Stayed 3 nights in a tent. The tent sites are level ground and drain very well as it rained during our stay but did not bother us as there was no mud in the mornings. Bird life is prolific we were visited by many small birds including magpies, rosellas, wrens and even a couple of chickens none of who were bothered by our presence.

One of the Best!

Just spent 6 weeks over Xmas here. Our 2nd stay and we loved it. Plenty of room for all types of rigs including our 5th wheeler. The family and staff are super efficient and friendly. Their home grown lamb is yummo. They go to a lot of trouble to entertain the kids with farm activities and food trucks, music for the adults.

The hosts were amazing and so accommodating…

This place is just beautiful. We came across Big Valley because all the caravan parks were full and we are so glad they were. The hosts were amazing and so accommodating it felt like home, nothing was too hard to sort out and they were able to help us when our plans changed with the Perth lockdown.

Great camp ground…

Wonderful place to stay, the owners and staff are all great and very welcoming! You can tell it's a busy farm, but that only adds to the glorious feeling of being out of the city. One thing I will say, free range roosters give an early wake up call. Great camp ground, facilities immaculate and Ron was good value, cheers!

Wonderful place to stay with dogs!

Wonderful place to stay with dogs! Super pet friendly, they even have an off lead paddock where they can run. The kids had a blast riding around on their bikes and feeding the guinea pigs. The sites are ample sized and spaced far enough apart that we didn’t feel closed in despite it being full. Great walking trails.

What a great place!

Just arrived today and wow...what a great place. Wish all parks were like this. Secured dog run and lots of room to walk them on lead as well. Will try the fresh lamb tonight. So glad we picked this spot for a few nights.

Ablutions clean and functional…

Staff were able to fit us in at short notice and even left detailed instructions out for our late arrival. Set in lovely surrounds, the staff were incredibly helpful at all times. Music and wood fired pizzas were on offer over the long weekend. Ablutions clean and functional. No complaints here.

A rustic camp ground with loads of charm..

We throughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Big Valley. A rustic camp ground with loads of charm. We were fortunate to snag a shady spot on arrival and our hosts were welcoming. Rastas and I were given a buggy ride to show us where the dog run was. I love this.

Very safe and large sites…

We stay there 10 days and enjoyed everyday, very safe and large sites so not packed in like sardines, out on the back paddocks is the best and not over priced. Compare to other places this is one of the best and so relaxing, Thank you.
